Healthy Living found themselves on the bad end of a lawsuit recently. They were accused of stealing a promotional video belonging to Nutrimost, one of Healthy Living’s major rivals in the weight loss business. Nutrimost brought Healthy Living to Federal Court due to the apparent theft.
The video was originally shown on a website owned by Nutrimost, but, the video was apparently pirated, modified just slightly, and then placed on the website for Healthy Living, can’tlosediet.com, without consent or compensation. The two videos are very similar in content, with the only change made being all references from the original video mentioning Nutrimost were removed and replaced those for Healthy Living.
Dr. Ray Wisniewski, is the author of the weight loss plan for Nutrimost, and says that this doctor-monitored weight loss system is safe. Those using the system will find that there is no feeling of being hungry, and there is not exercise needed while using the system.
They system also says that up to 45 pounds of weight can be lost in as little as 40 days. No harmful drugs are used, and there are no hormones that have to be given. Another benefit of the system is there are no prepackaged meals that have to be eaten.
Nutrimost has asked the courts for at least $300,000 in damages as a result of the pirated video. Even when a cease-and-desist order was given to Healthy Living, the video was still shown for a little while.
Nutrimost is at the leading edge of weight loss. Hundreds of customer testimonials attest to the effectiveness and ease of the weight loss program.
